Heavy Art Deco - Mid-Century Veneered Buffet Cabinet by Hancock & Gore, Brisbane

Extremely heavy cabinet with a curved veneer overlay.

Two central drawers above a lower pair of doors. Each side of the cabinet features an additional door of full cabinet height.
Great for storing additional items such as entertaining dishes, serving ware etc

This pieces dates between the Art Deco period until mid century (1920s - late 1940s). Good antique condition

Gore & Hancock had large timber yards all across Queensland in the late 1800s, with manufacturing of furniture beginning in the early 1900s. Their factory was on Annerley Road, Woolloongabba (South of Brisbane).
